Brian Rudell was born in Virginia Beach, Virginia and grew up in Richmond's Chesterfield County. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Elon University in 2001, he moved back to Virginia Beach to begin his real estate appraisal career and in January of 2006 formed Longbay Appraisal, Inc. Brian is currently a state certified real estate appraiser and enjoys fishing, kayaking, and exercising during his spare time.

Shawn Edwards was born in Hampton, Virginia and grew up in Poquoson. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from Christopher Newport University in 2003, he started working for Carter Machinery Company in Newport News. Three years later he decided to begin his career as a real estate appraiser. Shawn is currently a state licensed appraiser trainee and spends his spare time hunting and fishing on the Peninsula.
